Meet Our Passionate Veterinarians

Heidi Brunk

DVM

Dr. Brunk is originally from Harrisonburg, Va and completed her undergraduate work at Bridgewater College. She helped pay for her college education by working part-time at a local stable giving horseback rides. After graduation, she moved to Southwest Virginia and pursued her veterinary education at Virginia Tech.

After graduating vet school in 2006, Dr. Brunk worked at various small animal practices before starting at EVS in January of 2012. At EVS, she has found a fast-paced environment valuing excellence in veterinary care and is grateful to be able to offer her critical patients 24-hour care.

Dr. Brunk lives with her husband, their three children, young dog (Titus) and old cat (Corriander). She highly values her faith, family and friends, and she spends her time outside of work homeschooling her kids, singing with the Blacksburg Master Chorale, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Dr. Brunk works most weekends, but is hopeful that someday she will be able to have more fall weekends free for Hokie football! Go Hokies!

Maureen Noftsinger

DVM

Dr. Noftsinger grew up knowing she wanted to be a vet starting around age 4. In high school, she worked at Olde Towne School for Dogs in the retail store and training. She worked for a professional dog handler and showed dogs in junior handling, conformation, and obedience in high school and college. She started working at a vet’s office in college and worked in both general practice and an ER.

She graduated in 2001 from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia and currently serves as the Medical Director. She loves all animals but loves seeing the unconditional love between dogs and their people. She is thrilled that she can help animals in any way since they give so much to the human race.

Dr. Roberts is married and lives on a small farm. She loves spending time outdoors and with the animals. She has four dogs (2 Goldendoodles brigade and 2 livestock guardian dogs), a barn cat, goats, sheep, and lots of chickens.
